WLS Rolling & Scoring Line

The WLS-Gimpel Red Line is a high-performance chewing gum rolling and scoring system designed for continuous industrial production. With an 18-inch (approx. 460 mm) working width and output of approximately 2,000–3,000 kg/h, the line progressively reduces the extruded gum sheet, applies and recovers confectioner's sugar, performs longitudinal and transverse cutting, and provides manual or automatic sheet takeoff.

The line consists of:

1. WLS Heavy-Duty Sheet Extruder – Twin screws, 200 mm diameter each, 11 kW motor.
2. Sheet Rolling Machine – to press the gum sheet, several reducing rolling stations brings the sheet to final thickness.
3. First Cooling Tunnel – 3-tier, 4 m length, 5 HP cooling unit.
4. Scoring Machine – Longitudinal and transverse cutting of the gum sheet.
5. Gum Return Conveyor – Returns excess gum from scoring machine back to extruder for reprocessing.
6. Second Cooling Tunnel – 1-tier, 4 m length, 5 HP cooling unit.
